GoHighLevel pricing starts at $97 a month for the Starter plan, or $970 a year (about $81 a month). The other two public plans are Unlimited at $297 and Founder at $497. The name “SaaS Pro” is gone from the pricing page.

But the plan price is only the floor. HighLevel bills usage on top: every email, text, call, phone number and AI action. That is the part most people forget to budget. I checked HighLevel’s pricing page on 4 November 2026.

The usage costs nobody budgets for

HighLevel charges no fee on your sales. But it does charge for things you send and use, at rates listed on separate pages:

  • Email sends
  • SMS and phone calls, plus phone numbers
  • AI features: Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI

And some fixed add-ons:

Add-on Price
WhatsApp $10/mo per sub-account
AI Employee $50 or $97/mo per sub-account
White-label mobile app $497/mo

Plan your real number

For a solo business, the true monthly cost is $97 plus whatever you send. Add the AI Employee and it is $147 to $194 before any texts or calls. Set a usage budget in month one and check it weekly.

How to estimate your usage bill

HighLevel publishes its usage rates on separate pages, and they change. So instead of guessing a number for you, here is the simple method I use with clients:

  1. Count your new leads per month. Say 200.
  2. Count the texts and emails each lead gets. A typical follow-up might be 3 texts and 5 emails.
  3. Multiply. 200 leads × 3 texts is 600 texts. 200 × 5 is 1,000 emails.
  4. Add your list emails. A weekly newsletter to 2,000 contacts is about 8,700 emails a month.
  5. Look up today’s rates on HighLevel’s rate pages and multiply. Add phone numbers, calls and any AI features you turn on.

Do this before your trial ends. It takes ten minutes and tells you whether HighLevel will really save you money.

Yearly billing: what it saves

  • Starter: $1,164 a year on monthly billing vs $970 yearly. You save $194.
  • Unlimited: $3,564 vs $2,970. You save $594.
  • Founder: $5,964 vs $4,970. You save $994.

Usage is billed on top either way, so yearly billing only lowers the fixed part of your bill.

Who HighLevel is built for

HighLevel is an agency tool first. Unlimited and Founder exist so agencies can run many client accounts and resell the software. A coach or consultant running one business only needs Starter. The three sub-accounts on Starter are more than enough.

From my client work

A real-estate coach I advised replaced four tools with HighLevel Starter: a CRM, a booking tool, an email tool and a funnel builder. On paper, she saved over $100 a month.

Then she switched on two-way SMS for every lead. In her first busy month, texting added a noticeable chunk to her bill. Still cheaper than before, but not by as much as she expected. Budget usage before you switch it on.

What GoHighLevel really costs: three real setups

1. A solo coach with one business

Starter, billed yearly: $970 a year, plus usage. Unlimited contacts, booking calendars, workflows and funnels in one account.

2. The same coach with an AI assistant

Starter on monthly billing ($97) plus the AI Employee add-on ($50 or $97): $147 to $194 a month, plus usage. Turn on AI only once you know which job it will take off your plate.

3. A small agency with eight clients

Starter covers three sub-accounts, so eight clients need Unlimited at $297 a month. That is about $37 per client before usage. Unlimited also lets you rebill usage to clients at cost, so their sending is not your expense.

Starter or Unlimited for an agency

The switch point is simple. Starter allows three client accounts. The fourth client means Unlimited, which costs $200 more a month on monthly billing. If your fourth client pays you more than $200 a month, that client alone covers the jump. After that, every new client adds no plan cost at all.

How to pay less for GoHighLevel

  • Set a reminder for day 13 of the trial. Billing starts automatically when the 14 days end.
  • Turn on usage features one at a time. Start with email. Add SMS, calls and AI only when you know what they will earn.
  • Check usage weekly in month one. Surprises come from busy weeks, not quiet ones.
  • Cancel the tools it replaces. The saving is only real once the old CRM, booking and email bills stop.
  • Stay on Starter if you run one business. Unlimited and Founder are for agencies.

Is GoHighLevel worth it?

GoHighLevel is worth it when it replaces several tools you already pay for. For one fixed plan price, you get a CRM, booking calendars, workflows, funnels and unlimited contacts and users. A coach paying separately for a CRM, a booking tool, an email tool and a funnel builder can often spend less on Starter.

The risk is the bill you cannot see on the pricing page. Email, texts, calls, phone numbers and AI are all billed by use. A busy month can add a real amount. That makes HighLevel a poor fit if you want a fixed, predictable cost every month.

My view: agencies should look at Unlimited first, because the client-account and rebilling features are the point. Solo businesses should take Starter, estimate usage with the method above, and switch on features slowly. If you mainly sell courses, a course platform will serve you better for less.

Good fit

  • Agencies with client accounts
  • Lead-heavy businesses using SMS and calls
  • You want CRM, booking and funnels in one
Look elsewhere

  • You mainly sell courses
  • You want a fixed, predictable bill
  • You need something simple

How we checked these prices

I checked gohighlevel.com/pricing on 4 November 2026 and recorded the three public plans, their monthly and yearly prices, sub-account limits and the fixed add-on prices. HighLevel lists usage rates for email, SMS, calls and AI on separate pages that change often, so we did not print rates we could not keep current. Use the estimate method above with today’s rates.
