Editorial policy

How we stay independent, accurate and up to date.

PricingVerified publishes pricing records, cost comparisons and price-change reports for business software. This policy explains how we decide what to publish and how we keep it honest.

Independence

No vendor pays for placement, rankings or verdicts. We earn money through affiliate links and ads, and neither influences what we write. When a cheaper tool without an affiliate program is the better fit, we say so.

Accuracy

  • Prices come from the vendor’s own pricing page, checked on the date shown in each guide.
  • When we rely on a third-party source, we name it and its date.
  • Calculations (yearly totals, break-even points, cost at a given size) are our own arithmetic from the published prices, and we show the inputs.

Experience and stories

Our editor, Amanat Mossalli Taju, writes from years of work on SaaS pricing and growth. Stories in guides come from real client situations, with names and details changed, and sometimes combined. We never present a composite story as a product review or testimonial, and we never claim hands-on testing that did not happen.

Updates and corrections

We re-check live prices on a weekly cycle. When a vendor changes a price, plan or fee, we update the affected guides and log the change with its date. Reported errors are re-checked within 24 hours.

Use of AI

We use software tools, including AI, to help research, draft and check our work. Every number is verified against its source, and every guide is reviewed before publishing. Responsibility for what we publish stays with the editor.
